Ruth & Kathryn are Otho and Viella's daughters.
Uncle Jont is Jonathan Hesser, Otho's father and her father's uncle.
Aunt Kate is Sarah Katherine Hall Hesser, Jonathan's wife and Otho's mother
Herman (Williams) is Alice's husband.

Wednesday, August 1:  "I packed peaches for Butler.  Hazel worked at Ranch."

Thursday, August 2:  "I sold fruit at the stand.  Hazel & I stayed all night with Mrs. Trowbridge.  Edwards visited in the eve."

Friday, August 3:  "I graded pears at Kings maleum, worked till 7.  Went over to Folks, Coopers were there."

Saturday, August 4:  "I packed peaches for Mr. Butler.  Got tomatoes in afternoon.  Took Delma & Mary to San Berdo in eve.  Got a pair of shoes."

Sunday, August 5:  "H. & I went to Beach went to Lesters.  Came back by Long Beach & walked on pike, saw Marie & Ralph Baxter.  Got home 12 pm."

Monday, August 6:  "H. worked.  I took Mama & Kenneth to San Berdo.  Saw Alice & H.  Had a flat tire.  Saw Otho a min."

Tuesday, August 7:  "H. worked up at the ranch.  I graded pears at Kings Muleum.  Plumlees left for Oregon on vacation.  Sold some peaches to Dave."

Wednesday, August 8:  "H. hoed weeds at home.  I helped mama wash.  Went to San Berdo.  Had a flat tire.  Had to run on rim."
