My grandmother, Ethel Ranney Tapley
and her sister, Alice Ranney Thornburg
circa 1918-1920
Note: I had this photograph framed for my mother many
years ago and did not make a copy of it before it was
framed! I scanned it with my Flip-Pal,
stitched it, and now have a digital copy!
This is a such a nice photo. so with the flip-pal you just run it over the glass and get this great copy?! I need one!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. At first, I thought it was a painting. Thank goodness for technology, now we all can see it.
ReplyDeleteYes, the Flip-Pal will scan over glass. However, it doesn't come out crystal-clear, of course. But it is better than what I had - which was nothing! There was one picture of my grandmother that was too deeply set behind the glass and the Flip-Pal couldn't pick it up. The others worked fine. Yes, thank goodness for technology - what did I do before a cellphone or my computer?!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Barbara - I thought this was a painting, too, when I first saw it. It's a lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture! Thanks for sharing!
