Sunday, January 27, 1929: "The girls & I went to Church & Sun. School. Had several cages of canary birds at Church. In the afternoon we drove over to Laura Dodson's. Came back & went to Vespers. After supper Luther & the girls went to Church & I stayed at W's until nearly 11 o'clock."
Monday, January 28, 1929: "Worked at home until 2 o'clock then stayed with Charles until nearly 6. Went back in the evening and stayed until nearly midnight."
Tuesday, January 29, 1929: "Ironed & finished my brown dress & did some fixing of petticoats. Alice and I went up town after Luther came home from work. Stayed home in the eve."
Wednesday, January 30, 1929: "Cleaned up K's room. Luther came home at noon. Went with him to E. Highlands & to Bruce's in the afternoon. Got the children from school. Ethel went to the show with Lucille in the eve. & stayed at Pence's all night."
Thursday, January 31, 1929: "Luther helped Bruce trim up pepper trees & I spent the day with Nora. Came home and Lucille was here for supper. Alice & went to Mission Study class in the evening."
Friday, February 1, 1929: "Rained & L. didn't work. Worked on Ethel's green checked dress. Went along afer the children in the afternoon. Alice and Kenneth went to the show. Ethel went to Lucille's."
Saturday, February 2, 1929: "Worked in the forenoon. The girls & I went with Luther to East Highlands at noon. Ethel went with Lucille to San Bernardino & was gone until 10 P.M. We went up & did some trading in the afternoon. Stayed at Woessener's in the evening."
