Sun., June 18: "Kenneth came about 6 am. Alice & I went to Verdas awhile. We made some ice cream. Kenneth & mama went for a ride to Berdo."
Mon., June 19: "I picked cherries. Alice & dad worked at Wests. H. & I went over to Earls for awhile in the eve."
Tues., June 20: "I picked cherries. Alice picked cherries at Coopers in the afternoon. In the eve. Alice, Delma, H. & I went over to Maries & made ice cream."
Wed.., June 21: "I picked cherries. Earl & Verda & D.S. had accident in H. car at noon. They hit light pole. Earl was burned terrible are afraid he won't live. Went to hospital to see him in eve. Car burnt up."
Thurs., June 22: "We washed in the morning. I stayed with Delma in the afternoon. Clint took H., Delma & I went to see Earl in the eve. We stayed at the hospital till 12 pm. Earl had a bad night."
Fri., June 23: "We went down to see Earl in the morning. He is still delirious. Delma & I stayed with Verda in the afternoon. Went to see Earl in the eve. H. is staying all night with him. Delma is staying here."
Sat., June 24: "Mr. Plumlee came by for Delma & I & took us up to his house. In the afternoon we went to San Berdo with Dietrichs. Went to the hospital Earl was resting better."
