This blue/green pitcher belonged to my great-grandmother, Bessie Alice Carter Ranney (1883-1960). She was my mother's beloved grandmother.
Mom told me that this pitcher sat on every breakfast table her grandmother prepared. It was filled with cream or milk, ready to sweeten someone's morning coffee.
It has survived and brings back good memories to my mother.
