Delma = Hazel's little sister
Earl = Hazel's brother
Verda = Earl's wife
Dorothy Lee = Hazel's niece (Earl's child)
Otho is Otho Hesser, her father's cousin.
Viella is Otho's wife.
Ruth & Kathryn are Otho and Viella's daughters.
Uncle Jont is Jonathan Hesser, Otho's father and her father's uncle.
Aunt Kate is Sarah Katherine Hall Hesser, Jonathan's wife and Otho's mother
Herman (Williams) is Alice's husband.


Sunday, October 8:  "Dad picked peaches & I packed them all afternoon we had about 45 lugs.  We to see Mr. Morko in the eve, he wasn't there."

Monday, October 9:  "I went to school.  Studied in the eve.  Went over & got things out of Hazels house."

Tuesday, October 10:  "I went to school.  Mama came & I left school about noon.  Lucile brought us home.  It rained quite hard.  Dad put up the stove.  We had a blow out.  I changed it."

Wednesday, October 11:  "I went to school.  I studied in the eve."

Thursday, October 12:  "Mama went down with me in the morning.  We bought a tire.  Bought some brown material for a dress."

Friday, October 13:  "Went to school.  Laura & her aunt were here to dinner & got some peaches.  Mrs. Ball called.  Mama & I worked to try & find the kitchen."

Saturday, October 14:  "Mama & I cleaned house & canned peaches.  Hazel came about 10:30 p.m. I was sure glad to see him."
